Q. Am I able to scan black & white negatives using the EZYscan App?
 

A. Yes you can. You can use a light source to illuminate the negative or alternatively you can use the light box that is included in the EZYscan Rig Pack. You simply focus, adjust the frame (if required) and take the picture of your negative image. The full negative scanning tools are available as an in-app purchase. (See App for details)

Q. Are you able to scan colour negatives using the EZYscan App?

A. Yes you can. You can use a light source to illuminate the negative or alternatively you can use the light box that is included in the EZYscan Rig Pack. You simply set the focus, adjust the frame (if required) and take the picture of your negative image. The full negative scanning tools are available as an in-app purchase. (See App for details)

Q. Can I enhance my negative scans?

A. You have a choice of enhancement tools in the EZYscan App to create the best picture viewing experience, these include;

Negative to Positive - convert image to a positive in order to view the picture.
Auto Enhance - Auto adjust levels to create the best picture.
Black and White - Convert to black and white picture.
Original - Revert to the original image format.

Q. If I enhance a picture, will I lose the original image I took?
 

A. No, any enhancements can be saved as a new image. You never need to lose the original image.

Q. Am I able to scan 35mm slides using my EZYscan App?
 

A. Yes you can. You can use a light source to illuminate the slide or alternatively you can use the light box that is included in the EZYscan Rig Pack You simply focus, adjust the frame (if required) and take the picture of your negative image. The full negative scanning tools are available as an in-app purchase. (See App for details)

Q. What is the EZYscan Rig Pack?

A. We have a special pack of hardware accessories, that includes a device rig and a light box, designed to help you take professional quality scans using the EZYscan App on your device. For further details on how to get your Pack please visit: www.ezyscan.co.uk or alternatively use the in-app purchase option.

Q. Can I rename the images that I have scanned?

A. Yes you can.

Q. When I scan some of my negatives they appear to have blue colour cast on them?

A. Many types of colour negatives produce pictures that appear to have a colour cast on them, often blue or cyan. To remove this  unwanted cast use the ‘Auto Enhance’ option that can be found under ‘Edit’. This will remove the colour cast and create a great quality picture.

Q. Can I share my EZYscan pictures on my social media feeds?

A. Yes you can. Simply use the ‘Share’ option.

Q. Can I use my EZYscan App to scan documents?

A. Yes, you can save them in either PDF or JPEG file format.
